Aaron Mitton, Practice Administrator

Aaron has been at RCV since 2010, helping to ensure that the practice run smoothly at all levels. He has earned a B.A. in Writing and Literature from Burlington College. When he’s not at RCV, he spends most of his time reading, writing, biking, hiking, and spending time with his wife and eleven-year-old son.

Candice is the clinical manager and lead technician. She graduated from Spaulding High School and attended Johnson State College. She has worked in the medical field since 1996 and has been at RCV since its opening in 2005. She is a native Vermonter and lives in Barre with her husband and two children.  She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, cooking, and passing the time with family and friends.

KD 1Krystn Darul, Ophthalmic Technician

Krystn has been in the ophthalmic field since 2002, and has been with RCV since 2012. She is a native Vermonter, and graduated from Colchester High School. She lives with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She also has an African dwarf frog. In her spare time she likes to kayak, read, and spend time at home with her family.

 

Heather McLaughlin, Ophthalmic Technician

Heather has been working in eye care for 2 ½ years. She was previously working in optometry but is now working on becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant here at RCV. Heather is originally from Caribou, Maine and moved to Vermont in 2008. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, going for walks with her puppy Sara, playing her violin and being with friends and family.

Crystal is one of the ophthalmic assistants at RCV. She is a graduate of the Ophthalmic Medical Assisting Program at the Center of Technology, Essex and from the University of Vermont. When she’s not at RCV or working, she enjoys cooking, reading, going on outdoor adventures, music, and hanging out with family and friends.

 

TM 1Tasha Mitton, Ophthalmic Technician

Tasha is an ophthalmic assistant and has worked at RCV since 2014. In her free time she enjoys cooking, mountain biking, knitting, reading, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her husband, 11 year old son, and her two cats.

 

Vanessa

Vanessa Ament, Ophthalmic Technician

Vanessa moved from Seattle, WA to Burlington about 5 years ago. She spends her free time taking walks in the woods or by the lake, playing guitar, cooking, and in the winter months she dances with a local Cabaret company. She is thrilled to be a part of the administrative team at RCV.

 

Brittni Simmons, Administrative Assistant

Brittni is an Administrative Assistant at RCV. She is a Vermonter who enjoys crafting, cooking and spending time with family. Sadie, her black lab, occasionally stops in for a visit here at RCV.
